Campus Condorcet chose Kosmos for the development and installation of its new public and connected services portal. The Kosmos Solutioning teams have known how to meet this great challenge (10 months) by delivering the new portal as of the official opening of the campus.

Campus Condorcet, one of the major research centres in humanities and social science worldwide, opened its doors in September 2019, 10 years after the early stages of the project. Grouping together eleven higher education and research schools and universities*, its goal is to meet the teaching, scientific and digital challenges of the XXIth century.

A complete services portal adapted to each user profile: a major challenge for Campus Condorcet

The new Campus Condorcet services portal addresses both the general public, the higher education and research community, institutions and the media. On the general public side, visitors will find all the information on the campus and its latest news. The connected part of the platform provides access to additional and essential services intended for the researchers of the eleven higher education and research schools and universities.

This new platform, designed as a unique services portal, integrates both the general public part and the connected part. Our users residing on the Campus can thus connect to our portal keeping a single username; via an interface between our authentication platform and the RENATER identity federation. Through our portal, they can access all our applications and all the digital services of the Campus they will find useful for their daily activities: seminar centre reservation procedures and forms, meeting rooms, the directory, computing support procedures and forms, intervention request forms, etc.

Key points of the project

  • A co-design approach involving targeted users
  • A project based on the K-Sup solution, a base:
    • shared between the administration of the public and private parts,
    • integrated into the Information System of Campus Condorcet, in particular its identities repository and different key digital services,
    • enriched with additional services: interactive map, notifications

Kosmos new how to meet the great challenge of the calendar for delivering a quality product to use within the deadline for the opening of the Campus. We are very satisfied with the portal both from an aesthetic and a functional and technical point of view. It really matches the opening image associated with Campus Condorcet.
