Charles-Edouard is a technical architect at Kosmos, responsible for offering our customers the best choices according to their needs.

  • Hello Charles-Edouard, what is your role as technical architect at Kosmos?

I've been a software architect at Kosmos since 2014.
My role as a technical architect consists in proposing the best choices for our customers, solutions adapted to their needs and being the most efficient in the realization.

I also have a second role at Kosmos, that of lead developer. I'm involved in the realization of our projects, proposing modeling and design phases, and in the software development of our solutions.
  • How has Kosmos contributed to your professional development as an architect and developer?
At Kosmos I learned the architect's trade, I developed my ability to apply procedures and standards to a product and to produce formalized work that corresponds to the teams' expectations. As a lead developer, I also learned how to coach, how to help teams develop their skills and how to be as didactic as possible in passing on information.
  • What do you have in your toolbox?
The technical stacks we use at Kosmos are based on Springboot, Spring Cloud and Spring Integration for messaging. On the operational side, we also use Kubernet for deployment. All the tools involved in deployment, facilities management and bug tracking are provided by Sentry. For performance testing, we use Gatling with the APM solution.
  • How do you ensure the reliability of the solutions offered to Kosmos customers?

Our technical challenges at Kosmos are to offer the most reliable solutions possible for our customers, i.e. to choose technical components that will last for several years. But also, to be the most usable by the teams who manage them.

  • What motivates you?

My goal is to bring the best solutions, my expertise in different fields and to offer the best in the world of education.

  • Who do you work with?

I work with all types of profiles, from marketing to project managers and development teams.

  • Got a wish/idea on your Bucket list?
